July 2006:

Doublestuff and Chocolate, our Sleepy/ Oreo Mini Lop Rabbit litter born in April, took Best of Breed and Best Opposite at the ARBA show at Loudoun County Fair!

Phil and Dee both took 2nd place in their respective CDCTA Dressage shows. Paddy took 3rd in his class.

October 2006:

Haven't had time to update this in a while. This month Phil competed Prelim at Middleburg & CDCTA HTs. Paddy competed at Middleburg and Training at Waredaca and was completely full of himself! Ozzie went to CDCTA at Novice and was double clear - living up to his show name of "Iron Man"! Next stop is Virginia Horse Trials with Phil and Ozzie. Then everyone gets some well deserved time off.

April 2007:

Dee is sold . After eight years and four kids, we finally decided she needed more kids and I wasn't prepared to produce any. She has gone to New Jersey and is having a blast. She has three new Pony Clubbers and appearently slumber parties are now all about seven buddies giving her a bath and lots of suds!

LittleJohn is also sold and going to Florida (lucky him!) to compete on the Hunter circuit and be a trail horse with a lovely new owner. I will sweat bullets from the time he leaves until I hear he has arrived safely, but I know he will love his new job and new mom.

 As we have no indoor and were hit by wierd weather, we pushed back the competition schedule and the first time out for Paddy & Phil was Redlands at Training. They were both clean on XC, Paddy pulled a rail in stadium, but despite that, moved up from 13th to 7th. As he despises Dressage with a passion (as all good Event horses should) it was great that he was 13th after Dressage! Phil finished up 4th in a competitive division, with clean SJ and XC. Not bad for their first run this year :-) Both of them had a blast and are clearly wondering why it took so long to get to a Horse Trial this year!
